Currently, in Victoria, there is a grant of up to $10,000 to $20,000 for first-time buyers building a new home in regional Victoria, valued up to $750,000.
This grant is not means-tested and is available to first home buyers building a new home where the land and construction costs do not exceed $750,000. First home buyers can also claim stamp duty reductions for purchases up to $600,000.
